Many of you know Jan and I have taken temporary custody of our grandson, two month old Jackson Lee. His parents will be taking custody as soon as they complete the necessary legal paperwork. As Jan and I receive a newborn child into our home, I am feeling an unspeakable awe over the mystery of a God who, in the competing and contradictory experience of sorrow and hope of this world is able to do the unimaginable and create joy.
